Before you begin your application, use this guide to determine your ×ó°®ÊÓÆµ classification.

Freshmen/First-Year Students

Students who are in 12th grade and applying for admission immediately following high school graduation, or students who graduated high school and have not earned more than 12 college credits after graduation.

Transfer Students

Students who earned 12 or more college credits after high school graduation or completed an associate’s degree from a state or community college.

Returning ×ó°®ÊÓÆµ students.

Students pursuing a second bachelor’s degree.

Graduate Students

Students who received an undergraduate degree and are considering a master’s, doctoral, or specialist degree program.

Freshman Applications

Freshman students applying for Fall or Summer may apply to ×ó°®ÊÓÆµ through either our ×ó°®ÊÓÆµ Online Application or the Common Application. Spring applicants must use the If interested in the Harriet L. Wilkes Honors College, use the Wilkes Honors College Common App. Students should only submit one application for admission to ×ó°®ÊÓÆµ.
Your Application Process
  1. Complete and submit the online application and pay the non-refundable $30 application fee.
  2. Submit your Self-reported Transcript and Academic Record (STARS)*
    *If you have already graduated from high school and are applying to ×ó°®ÊÓÆµ as a first-year student, please submit official high school transcripts in lieu of STARS.
  3. Self-report your test scores. ×ó°®ÊÓÆµ is subject to , which requires first-year students seeking admission to submit an ACT, CLT, or SAT test score.
    *Nursing applicants and applicants who have already graduated from high school must order official test scores to be sent directly from the testing agency to ×ó°®ÊÓÆµ.
